| For a number of years I had a dream of owning a restaurant. I always loved to cook and entertain. After researching several possibilities, I decided to open a Tea Room. A Tea Room is after all a place where friends and family gather together for good food in good surroundings. | |
| On October 21, 2000 we opened our doors on The Front Porch Tea Room. We pronounced it a great success after several weeks of sold out teas. In the years since we opened our doors we have had the privilege of serving people from all 50 states and 39 countries. We have hosted many Bridal Showers, Baby Showers, Birthday Parties, Rehearsal Dinners and Weddings. In 2005 we decided to offer Gourmet Breakfasts on Saturday mornings. We wanted to offer something different from the standard breakfast faire. The response was overwhelming. Working with several great chefs over the years we have also offered gourmet dinners. Our most popular is our Candlelight Sweetheart Dinner held Valentines week. In 2007 thanks to our patrons reviews we have attained the outstanding status of being listed as one of the top 100 tea rooms in the United States and we are ranked 4th in Pennsylvania out of 128. Our tearoom seats 40. Our gardens can accommodate 175. So Give us a call for your party of 2 or more. We are known for our individualized service and attention to every detail.
